‘Gentle Duluth Teal’ Sept. 24 For Ovarian Most cancers Consciousness Month

DULUTH, Minn. – The Minnesota Ovarian Most cancers Alliance is shining a light-weight on ovarian most cancers within the northland subsequent month, as September is nationwide Ovarian Most cancers Consciousness Month.

A number of Duluth landmarks will mild up in teal Sept. 23 and 24, together with the DECC, Radisson Lodge, Enger Tower, Glensheen Mansion and Pier B.

Organizers say it’s all a part of elevating consciousness and saving lives, which occurred years in the past when town lit the Carry Bridge teal.

“A lady noticed that bridge, was questioning why teal, seemed into it. What is that this teal about? Came upon it’s ovarian most cancers, seemed up the signs and acknowledged them in her mom and fortunately she was identified early and a life was saved.
