Hyderabad police auctions off 1141 automobiles for round Rs 65 lakhs
Hyderabad: The town police on Tuesday organised an public sale of 1150 deserted and unclaimed automobiles on Tuesday and picked up Rs. 64,63,200 Lakh by promoting 1060 of these automobiles.
The public sale was directed by Hyderabad Metropolis Police at Goshamahal police grounds underneath the supervision of the Commissioner of Police, Hyderabad metropolis.
Through the occasion, round 550 bidders have been current from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and out of 601 automobiles, 568 have been bought out. A complete of 1150 automobiles have been auctioned whereby 1060 deserted scrap automobiles (1054 two-wheelers, 04 three-wheelers and 02 four-wheeler automobiles) of Hyderabad metropolis have been auctioned for Rs.53,05,000/- in scrap situation and the roadworthy out of (90) automobiles 82 two-wheelers have been auctioned for Rs. 11,58,200.
A complete of 545 two-wheelers, 21 three-wheelers, and a couple of four-wheelers from Hyderabad metropolis have been actioned for rs. 44.28 lakh, and one other. The quantity which was collected by promoting automobiles might be deposited within the authorities treasury.
